Representatives from Straub Construction and Hoefer Welker accepted this year’s Small Project Award.

Lakemary Center is an incredibly important, state-of-the-art facility providing educational, mental, and behavioral health services, as well as social support for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The new 17,000-square-foot Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility is designed to meet the needs of hundreds of individuals from all over the country who rely on Lakemary. Its design blends mental health and wellness services to create a campus that balances security, operational efficiency, healing, autonomy, and empowerment.

Congratulations to the entire project team on an outstanding achievement! AOG is grateful to collaborate with firms that share our commitment to the health and wellness of the Greater Kansas City community. We’re also proud to sponsor DBIA-MAR and its mission.
