What a night at Shrimp Bingo 2025! Alpha-Omega Geotech (AOG) was proud to be part of this long-running annual tradition hosted by the Engineers Club of Kansas City at the Overland Park Hotel and Convention Center. The fundraising event benefits future engineers, and serves as an inspiring reminder of why we invest in STEM education and support the next generation of engineering talent.

AOG’s Signature Geotech Theme

This year, AOG dug in deep to bring our Geotech theme to life with a custom-decorated table that reflected our geotechnical roots. From our earthy terrarium centerpiece to the playful pop ‘rocks’ and our signature laboratory-inspired aprons, our team made sure our engineering spirit was on full display. Beyond the fun and creative table setup, we hope our presence also reinforced our commitment to the engineering community.

Why This Event Matters

Shrimp Bingo is about investing in the future of Kansas City. Scholarships funded through Shrimp Bingo ticket sales and sponsorships provide crucial financial support for aspiring engineers, ensuring that the brightest minds have resources they need to excel.

Engineering innovation starts with education, and AOG is honored to play a role in helping shape the next wave of problem-solvers who will build the world around us.

AOG’s Role in STEM and Engineering Education

As a firm with deep expertise in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing, we understand firsthand the importance of cultivating young engineering talent. Many of today’s students will become tomorrow’s structural engineers, construction managers, and geotechnical specialists. Some may even work alongside us soon. Events like Shrimp Bingo build bridges between industry leaders and students, reinforcing the importance of mentorship, networking, and professional development in engineering.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of this event. A huge thank you to the Engineers Club of Kansas City for organizing such an impactful evening, and to everyone who joined us at the AOG table!

Let’s keep building the future—one scholarship at a time.
