We had so much fun at Shrimp Bingo 2026! Once again, AOG leadership joined thousands of engineers and construction industry peers for one of Kansas City’s most recognizable engineering traditions.

Hosted by the Engineers Club of Kansas City, Shrimp Bingo brings the engineering community together for an evening that’s equal parts networking, fun, and purpose. The event supports engineering students through ECKC’s College Student Assistance Program.

This year’s event drew more than 1,300 attendees and raised over $40,000 to support future STEM professionals. Well over $1 million has been raised since 2001.

At the AOG table, we leaned into a simple idea: Let’s Build. A LEGO-inspired setup added colorful energy and personality to the room and sparked plenty of conversation. It was a way to emphasize who we are, the collaborative ease we bring to partnerships, and the idea that engineering is, at its core, about building things together. Happy to play bingo with our VIP guests and see everyone who stopped by.

For AOG, Shrimp Bingo is an annual tradition. It’s a chance to step away from project schedules, reconnect with familiar faces, and spend time with peers from across the region. We appreciate the opportunity to lighten up a bit and enjoy an evening with so many friends.

Shrimp Bingo continues to be a highlight on the construction calendar because it reflects the best of the engineering and greater Kansas City area community. We all want to champion shared effort, shared purpose, and support for the next generation. AOG is proud to be part of that tradition year after year.
