Ace Hardware Retail Support Center
I-29 & Mexico City Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64163
Alpha-Omega Geotech (AOG) has cemented its reputation as a trusted project team partner, providing geotechnical services for some of the heartland region’s most high-profile builds. The 1.5 million-square-foot Retail Support Center (RSC) for Ace Hardware Corporation—the largest distribution center in Kansas City at the time of construction— is a shining example. Situated in the sweeping KCI 29 Logistics Park development, right across from the new Kansas City International Airport, the RSC is a critical part of Ace Hardware’s nationwide distribution network.
Our local expertise and familiarity with Kansas City’s soils and building codes gave our team a significant advantage that partners have come to expect from us. Our long, local track record of providing geotechnical engineering, testing, and inspections services were a strong match for this extraordinarily large-scale project. Dozens of investigative borings, a staggering amount of concrete testing samples, and steel inspections across acres of construction anchored our efforts focused on accuracy, and schedule and materials efficiency. The success of the Ace Hardware RSC project was a testament to Alpha-Omega Geotech’s ability to handle complex, massive projects with precision and adaptability.
