We love the unusual, the innovative, and the ambitious. That’s exactly what we dug into at the site of the Raptor Transfer System. The revolutionary waste disposal system allows haulers to dump their loads at a central location, and then the system filters out toxic items for special processing, and transfers it all to landfills. Low odor, low noise, and built with sustainable materials and methods, it’s the only system of its kind in the country as of 2023.

Hundreds of tons of waste are processed at the site daily. When loads are dumped, cranes pick through, arrange, and compress into trailer containers below ground. The constant pushing and weight loads required careful Geotechnical engineering to ensure an especially strong subgrade. A challenge that was a custom fit for AOG.
